During the planning and building stages, BRC will accept members who
live at a distance on the same terms as other members of the group.
Meeting minutes posted on the website will keep them up to date, and the
listserv and conference calls will allow them to participate in discussions.
Long-distance members should be aware that (a) consensus decisions
are made by those physically present at any given meeting, and (b) if they
are unable to take on tasks regularly for the group, they may slip in house
selection seniority.
