If you are interested in potentially living in Blue Ridge Cohousing, we encourage you
to attend our
meetings.  After you have attended a few meetings, if you choose to join,
we ask that you fill out the
checklist to become an Associate Member.  Associate
Members pay a one time nonrefundable $250 fee.  Associate Members can attend
meetings and take part in consensus discussions, but are not allowed to vote.

The next level of commitment is to become an Equity Member.  This costs $10,000,
reserves a house, and grants full voting rights.

Associate memberships are not refundable.  Equity Members who choose to leave
the group may be refunded their money after the community is completed (or
possibly earlier, at the discretion of the group).

We also encourage members as well as non-members to become investors.
Investors put money into the development project, which is returned with a
predetermined interest payment after the project is completed.  Feel free to contact
us to learn about the rate of return and how investment works.

Lot selection

The selection of lots within the community will be by order of joining as equity
members.
